Staff are friendly and happy.It is possible to book a double room for four for 2,500 baht (high season).Right by the sea with a terrace over the sea to sit and watch Ko Chang sunsets. The rooms are a great value. It is just before the I do I do beach bar 3 rooms with fan, shared bathroom (200 Bath). Drinks decent and reasonably priced. Hitching on Ko Chang is also an alternative if you choose not to pay the often exorbitant fees of the songtheaw.
