the passive is 20 physical defense reduction in a pen aura around you which will make the entire enemy team take more physical damage from everybody on your team..Blackthorn Hammer is a great item on sun wukong. the base stats are good as well with the cdr and prots but mainly for the passivr, think about it, it heals for 2.5% of your hp per person hit with an ability so mathematically speaking if you hit five people with all four of your abilities, which is unlikely, you will heal for 50% of your healthhide gives good base stats and once stacked it gives even better stats. also when stacked you get a huge health shield added on top of the 250 health the item already gives. its more so a filler item but it gives a decent amount of protections and a great passive.
