Starting in one corner and going in some sort of continuous direction across the map, or starting in the center where link started the story, then moving out and around the map would have made this easier to navigate. Plus, if you go farm weapons from “x tests of strength” you can infinitely have weapons that deal 80+ damage (in the case of Guardian Sword++ with a damage perk of around 10+ attack damage, bringing it to around 50 damage, and then adding the 80% boost.
It should be easy to walk through each area and find all of the shrines. For farming materials best face the red ones, because they are the easiest of the bunch (but drop the lowest level loot).
